New Assessment Research Article on Fraternities
I am excited to have co-authored a new article which disseminates findings from an assessment of a national fraternity leadership program for chapter presidents. The fraternity demonstrated positive self-reported outcomes from leadership program designed for chapter presidents from an individual national assessment. Data was collected at three intervals this year (pretest, during program, posttest). Findings based on the self-reported data and from statistical analysis, chapter presidents felt more knowledgeable about chapter finance practices, leading chapter meetings and rituals, practicing accountability, preparing for recruitment, and evaluating and addressing chapter academic practices. These findings help us better understand the value of intentional national fraternity sponsored programming which can readily supplement campus-based leadership programming.
